Bob Dylan said that. The 99%ers feel that banks are the devil so it makes sense that Mr Snyder would take this popular view. Debt levels are concerning and the nonchalant treatment by the US Government and citizens is more concerning, but calling Americans slaves is a bit dramatic. Snyder states, “Just see what happens if you quit paying your property taxes (rent) to the proper authorities”. This statement makes just about everyone of the 8B people on earth that are required to pay taxes, slaves. I try to limit my debt, but I’d much rather have debt and drive a car 8 miles to work than to walk the 8 miles. I said that.
