PT government have changed the way unemployment rate is accounted in Brasil, excluding people who are not serching for a job or are receiving any kind of governement financial transfer, so, the unemployment rate doesn’t show the reality and is not a trusted mesure.
The “middle class” have grown with the governement financial transfer to take people out of poverty, because they consider as middle class someone who earns only R$300,00/month, but as the unemployment rate is rasing, more people are going back to poverty, mainly because we have a credit bubble crises almost to crash. Take care wile considering investiments on the banking industry. They might become insolvent in the near future.
Also, education is not at all the priority of Dilma Rouseff’s governement. She have cut a lot of money from education and her party, PT, wants to keep the people without education. It’s also another fake mesure, they consider people who berely now how to wright their name as “educated”.
Dear Mr. Mark Mobius, please, open your eyes with your local analysis team, because they are keeping you badly informed.
Yes, brazilian assets might be underpriced, but are they already on their lower price? We are facing a crises that’s only beggining.
