Brazil more than doubled pork supplies to Russia from January to November 2014 year-on-year, TASS said. In October Russia accounted for 46.8 percent of Brazilian pork exports, earning exporters 60.67 percent of their revenues, according to the vice-president of the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA), Fransisco Turra. Supplies in January-November were worth $766.3 million, which is a 101.5 percent growth year-on-year. “We can say that the outgoing year has become the year of Russia,” Turra said.
