Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

The leaders continued discussing the implementation of the Measures for a Peaceful Settlement in Southeastern Ukraine, adopted in Minsk, particularly the ceasefire, the withdrawal of heavy weapons by both parties to the conflict and the situation in the area of Debaltsevo.
In addition, they exchanged views on the role of the OSCE monitoring mission at the current stage of the process.
The parties agreed to continue their contacts in various formats to assist in the implementation of the Minsk Agreements.
